Law Enforcement Corruption & Abuse Welcome to America.

What happened to 2000 elderly British cruiseship passengers when their ship landed in Los Angeles after touring the world… legal protection for non-citizens Theoretically, there are legal protections for people who visit the US. Theoretically. But the theory goes out the window if one of the little ICE dictators decides they don’t like you. "Rule of Law? What’s that? You’re a non-citizen on US soil. You don’t have no stinking rights." And that’s how they play it every day all over the Land of the Free. The story of the cruise ship full of elderly Brits abused at the hands of ICE in LA was unusual – because it was reported. Apparently elderly people aren’t subjected to collective punishment back in the UK. Backward place really. They need to get with the program. Seriously, how many hundreds of billions – trillions? – of dollars have these federal shit heads cost this country over the last ten years in discouraging travel, discouraging trade, loss of good will. (They were behaving this way long before 9/11 by the way.) And for what? Greater security? Bullshit. The country was raped and pillaged in broad daylight by a handful of banks causing exponentially more economic damage than ten real armies could inflict on the US and no one’s even been brought to task, let alone indicted. But by God, if a handful of cranky elderly people object to the way they’re treated by the steroid pumped morons brigade, we’re going to hold up everyone on the boat with them – all 2000 – for …

How to get a luxury holiday on a budget

Summer’s here and many are getting ready to go on holiday. This year is luxury on your mind but you don’t have the budget to afford a 5 star vacation. Always Save Money host Rubina Ahmed-Haq spoke to Bob Diener, the President of Getaroom.com on how to score a great deal on a hotel room this summer. Here are some tips to keep in mind before you book your summer holiday 1.Do your research before you buy. After you decide what city you want to travel too, figure out that city’s high and low season. Also is this city busier on the weekends or during the week. All this information and a little flexibility will help you save money 2.Always pick up the phone and ask for the "unpublished rate." Often a real live agent can give you a bigger discount. Hotels are reluctant to show their rock bottom prices and leave that information with the agents . 3.Don’t travel last minute. Book at least 21 day in advance. Gone are the days when hotels were slashing price at the last minute. Hotel room prices are often higher if you book last minute. Hotels now reward you for committing early. 4.Look out for one-day deals. A lot of online sites offer short term deep discounts. These flash deals last 24 to 72 hours and can save you a lot of money. But you have to act fast! 5.Check the reviews on any hotel you are thinking of booking. Make sure you are truly getting the luxury experience the hotel is promisig. If you pay any money for a hotel you don’t want
